Michael Ruley, CEO
Mike Ruley brings an impressive record of leadership, experience and accomplishment in telecom, data access and managed services to his role as Airband CEO. Prior to the merger with Airband and Sparkplug, Ruley was the CEO of Sparkplug, a fixed-wireless service provider that offered services across five states, including the metropolitan areas of Chicago, Nashville, Des Moines, Phoenix and Las Vegas. Prior to Sparkplug, Ruley served as the CEO of Hawaiian Telecom, an independent telecommunications company based in Honolulu, Hawaii, that provides wireline, wireless, long distance, data, managed services and yellow pages to all of the major Hawaiian Islands. Ruley’s in-depth industry experience includes: CEO of NextiraOne, a North American voice and data solutions business with about 3,500 employees; senior positions at XO Communications, including President of Market Sales where he managed about 1,500 people in sales, support, customer care and the indirect channel organizations that delivered nearly $1 billion in annual revenue; executive roles at Teleport Communications Group, a competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC) that is now part of AT&T. Ruley currently serves on the boards of Tissue Genesis, Inc. and Allied Bioscience Services. Ruley attended the University of Kansas from 1978 to 1983.

Timothy Kinnear, CFO
Timothy Kinnear has over 22 years of experience in technology and emerging businesses. Prior to the merger of Airband and Sparkplug, Kinnear served as the CEO and CFO of Airband, responsible for all facets of Airband’s corporate strategy and operational finances, including relationships with investors, merger-and-acquisition activities, and banking relationships. Before joining Airband, Kinnear was the CFO at WiQuest Communications, where he raised $23 million from venture capital, negotiated agreements with strategic customers and partners, and led annual strategic planning and corporate development activities. Earlier in his career, Kinnear held executive and senior management positions at InnerWireless, Intrusion, Inc., and Cyrix Corporation, where he provided financial leadership for Cyrix’s IPO. Kinnear received his Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting at Texas Tech University.

James DaBramo, Executive Vice President of Sales
With more than 25+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, James DaBramo is responsible for Airband’s sales, channel and account management organizations. As executive vice president of sales, DaBramo leads the sales and channel teams focused Airband’s key segments including small- and medium-sized businesses, enterprises, wholesale carriers and channel partners. DaBramo joins Airband from FDN, a Florida-based CLEC where as founder and EVP of sales, he grew the company from zero revenue to over $150 million within six years. FDN merged with NuVox Communications in 2007 where DaBramo led the Wholesale, Government and MDU Sales Operations. Prior to that, he was a founder and VP of Sales & Marketing for Metro Access Networks (MAN) based in Dallas, Texas. MAN was purchased by Brooks Fiber Systems, a fiber optics services company based in St. Louis MO. DaBramo became the leading VP of sales for Brooks representing the Southwest region. Brooks was acquired by MCI WorldCom in 1998. DaBramo received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.

Jennifer Mao, VP of Marketing
Jennifer Mao is responsible for marketing and product management at Airband Communications. Mao has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining Airband, Mao was the Chief Marketing Officer of Sage Telecom, a leading CLEC with over $300 million in revenue. Mao also held VP of Marketing positions with GlobeRanger, a RFID software company and Allied Riser Communications, a CLEC focused on providing telecommunication services to businesses in class A buildings of major metropolitan markets. Mao started her career at GTE/Verizon, holding various management positions from marketing to product management and business development. Mao is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and received her MBA from UCLA.

Daman Wood, VP of Wholesale Markets
As Airband’s VP of Wholesale Markets, Daman Wood is responsible for the Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Des Moines regions, carrier and wholesale markets. Prior to the merger of Airband and Sparkplug, Wood was the COO of Sparkplug, leading the marketing, operations and engineering organizations. Before Sparkplug, Wood led sales and marketing for Next Level Solutions, a value added reseller and integrator of wireless solutions ranging from 802.11/16 and microwave point-to-point and point-to-multipoint. Wood’s experience also includes various management positions with TeleSpectra, XO/Nextlink Communications and Syntellect, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and MBA from Arizona State University.

Christopher Aamold, VP of Information Technology
Christopher Aamold is responsible for the Information Technology organization at Airband Communications. Within this role, Aamold sets Airband’s IT strategy and delivers applications and infrastructure to support business operations. Aamold has an established record of success within the telecommunications and information technology industries for fifteen years. Before joining Airband, Aamold was Vice President of IT Operations at Broadwing Communications. His previous roles include management and technical roles at Allegiance Telecom, WorldCom and MFS Communications. Mr. Aamold has also co-founded Media Driver, LLC where he has provided guidance to privately held firms regarding merger, acquisition and turnaround activities.

Randall Murphy, National VP of Service Delivery & Field Operations
Randall Murphy brings over 30 years of experience in telecommunication operations and services to Airband. Murphy is responsible for Airband’s Service Delivery and Field Operation teams which ensure Airband services are installed and maintained flawlessly. Prior to joining Airband, Murphy was the Regional General Manager for Scientel Wireless where he directed all operational, engineering and project management functions. Murphy’s extensive experience also includes executive and operating positions at Telizent Communications, NextiraOne, DataVon and XO Communications. Murphy attended Texas Tech University and Stephen F. Austin University.

Mike Jaffe, National VP of Network Engineering
Mike Jaffe is responsible for Airband Network Engineering, including network strategy and planning, data and VoIP engineering and the Network Operations Center. Jaffe has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and held executive positions at Masergy Communications where he served as the Sr. Vice President of Operations & Engineering and at Allied Riser Communications as Vice President of Operations. Jaffe’s industry experience includes solutions architect and technical operating positions at Alcatel-Lucent, EG&G Information Technologies and VaultNet. Jaffe received his Bachelor and Masters in Computer Science from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.
