Airband Communications Names Jennifer Mao Vice President Of Marketing

DALLAS – Oct. 18, 2007 – Airband Communications, Inc. today announced that it has hired Jennifer Mao as the company’s vice president of marketing.  In this role, Mao will lead all aspects of Airband’s marketing efforts including product management, marketing communications, demand generation, channel marketing, and both public and analyst relations.

Mao is a marketing veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industries.  Prior to joining Airband, Mao was the chief marketing officer for Sage Telecom.  Her experience also includes marketing leadership positions with GlobeRanger Corporation, Allied Riser Communications and GTE. “Airband’s WiMAX fixed-wireless network provides a truly differentiated service, ranging from its speed of delivery to its unmatched scalability,” Mao said.  “I’m excited to work with an executive team that is focused on providing an incomparable customer experience.”
